Hi! My name is Eric, and I'm a software engineer. I've been doing this for a while (hard to believe it's been over 20 years). I've been a part of a lot of projects, and I've seen this industry change a lot. Every time there's a big shake up in this industry, I strive to keep up and find my place within it.
The top things I bring to a team are:
- creative thinking - It's hard to quantify, but I've been told many times that I have a unique and outside-the-box perspective
- deep knowledge - I love stepping into unfamiliar codebases and quickly orienting myself, loading it all up into my brain and becoming an expert on how (and why) things do what they do
- producing good code - I've seen a lot of code, and whether I'm writing it myself or working with an agent, I have a strong intuition for what works and what doesn't
